Session Overviews

Central Next Generation and Cloud Auth

Technical Session Overview:

Central Next Gen: Aruba Central is a cloud-based networking platform that unifies the management of wired and wireless LANs, WANs, and VPNs. The next generation of Aruba Central offers a range of features, including but not limited to:

AI-based insights: Provides faster troubleshooting and continuous network optimization.

Contextual network observability: Correlates network devices, connectivity links, and applications to help identify and resolve issues.

Responsive alerts: Ensures the network keeps running at peak performance.

Central NAC: Cloud Authentication and Policy allows you to configure user and client access policies that provide a secured, cloud-based network access control (NAC). In HPE Aruba Networking Central, you can configure these policies and provide an onboarding URL for network users. As users attempt to connect, you can monitor authentication access requests and sessions on the dashboards, viewing details for analysis and troubleshooting.

AP Onboarding in HPE Aruba Networking Central: An access point has already been onboarded into the HPE GreenLake Edge-to-cloud Platform in which Central resides. You will create a group in HPE Aruba Networking Central to support configuration of the access point.

Cloud Auth Integration with Microsoft’s Entra ID (formerly Azure AD): Integrate Cloud Authentication (aka “Cloud Auth”) with Entra ID, enabling secure and centralized identity management without relying on traditional on-prem solutions.

802.1x EAP with Cloud Auth: Configure and test an SSID to use 802.1x Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) with Cloud Auth, ensuring secure wireless access.

MPSK with Cloud Auth: Implement Multi-Pre-Shared Key (MPSK) with Cloud Auth to enhance security and simplify device management.

MAC Authentication with Cloud Auth: Configure MAC Authentication to support "headless" IoT devices that cannot leverage 802.1x.

Cloud Guest Authentication: Configure a Guest Splash Page and SSID to provide secure guest access.

Securing and Connecting the Modern Workforce with HPE Aruba Networking SSE and Unified SASE

Technical Session Overview:

Discover the future of secure access for the modern workspace with HPE Aruba Networking Security Service Edge (SSE). Explore how Aruba's cutting-edge solutions, including Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM), revolutionize network security. From advanced access control to seamless connectivity and comprehensive threat protection, learn how Aruba Networks empowers organizations to embrace the evolving landscape of cybersecurity with confidence and agility.

Lab Overview:

HPE Aruba Networking SSE LAB: Gain a deeper understanding of HPE Aruba’s Networking SSE capabilities by configuring and testing ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) and SWG (Secure Web Gateway) features.

Building an Event-Driven Network and Security Fabric

Technical Session Overview:

Get better visibility into your network to better protect your data and customers. By knowing who is communicating within your network, you can better design firewall protections not just for your data center but also for your campus core.

Lab Overview:

Learn how to see all the packets traversing the switch.

Configure the switch with Firewall Policies and Rules to protect your valuable information.

Allow what you want and deny everything else.
