Although we at HPE do not have our own public cloud, we provide services like HPE Cloud Volumes Block and HPE Cloud Volumes Backup, designed for you so you can make better use of public clouds from Amazon, Microsoft or Google.
HPE Cloud Volumes Block is a cloud storage service that provides storage volumes for use with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. HPE Cloud Volumes Backup is a service that enables you to seamlessly backup data from your on-premises arrays to the cloud.
In this edition of HPE Tech Café we will illustrate how the above HPE Cloud Volumes services can be used to address frequently encountered questions like:
- If I'm running mission-critical applications on premise, can I easily move or "burst" to the cloud?
- How can I deliver a dual cloud strategy, or a "cloudless" one? How can I avoid cloud lock-in?
